Will Ospreay On Ricochet Potentially Joining AEW: I Hope He Does. There Is Money On The Table

Will Ospreay has made it very known that he would love to have Ricochet join AEW.

Ricochet has wrapped up his time on WWE TV earlier this month as his deal is slated to expire soon, with many people believing he could be AEW-bound. Ospreay has admittedly said that he was a little sad about how WWE uses Ricochet and publicly talked about how he wants to see Ricochet get more time to showcase the ability that he saw in him.

He called him one of the best-going and thought how WWE used him was appalling. They worked together in the 2010s and put on some incredible matches.

Speaking to Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports, Ospreay talked about Ricochet potentially signing with AEW.

Ospreay said, “Five. I’ve said this to a lot of people recently. I’ve been shouting his name off in the distance for years, and I do mean years. It’s only now, just because his contract is coming up, that people think is going to happen. I speak to Ricochet every now and again. There is nothing said between us about whether something is going to pop off. Honestly, I hope he does. I really really hope he does. I miss him as a friend. I do think there is money on the table to do a rematch, but I do think there is money on the table to do a tag team.”

Ospreay will challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Heavyweight Title at Forbidden Door this Sunday.
