PHOTOS: Britt Baker Seen With The Bella Twins Amidst Hiatus From AEW
Fans have been hoping to see Britt Baker return to AEW television after a lengthy hiatus.
In 2023, Baker was not used on television in the top-star role. Her last two matches were on September 13th and 16th, leading to speculation that she may be injured. Baker was backstage at the Dynamite in Jacksonville, FL, earlier this year, along with Elijah “The Pope ” Burke and PAC, where she was visiting.
While speaking to Raj Prashad of Uproxx Sports this week to promote Forbidden Door, Tony Khan was asked about the status of the former Women’s Champion. Khan has stated that she’s been out injured for an extended period of time.
However, he’s eager to get her back and credits her for being part of the promotion since its 2019 launch. He added that they would love to have her back in the mix very soon. It’s still unclear exactly when and how soon that will be.
