AEW Star Has Been Cleared For In-Ring Return

AEW is getting back another star who has been on the sidelines as of late.

That star is Darby Allin, who originally planned to climb Mount Everest earlier this year but was sidelined with a broken foot. The injury happened when he worked a match against Jay White at AEW Big Business.

He also teamed up with Sting to retain the Tag Team Titles in Sting’s retirement match at Revolution. The following month, he was hit by a bus and suffered a broken nose. Despite being injured, he wrestled in the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing as a replacement for Eddie Kingston.

While speaking on Friday Night Fights, Allin confirmed that he is medically cleared for in-ring action and would be at AEW Dynamite tonight.

Allin said, “Tomorrow in Little Rock, Dynamite 250 is actually my return again because, if anyone knows, I broke my foot two months ago and then got hit by a bus and broke my nose, and then returned to the ring. I had one match, I was hung upside down with a rope and then kicked in the face with shoes that had superglued thumbtacks to the bottom of them, and the thumbtacks got stuck in my lip. It kind of messed up my septum, and blood was squirting everywhere. So I am medically cleared after all that, and I am back to rock in Little Rock. It’s gonna be fun. I got a lot of crazy stuff planned.”

AEW has yet to announce Allin for the show.
