Rikishi Calls For WWE To Give Jey Uso A Title Shot

Jey Uso’s popularity with fans has taken off over the last few years after he was in a tag team with his brother, Jimmy, for years. He first tasted being a singles star in late 2020 when he entered a program with Roman Reigns before forming The Bloodline faction.

After splitting from the faction last year, he has become a top star for the promotion and has been leading merchandise sales for the company over the last few months. While Uso has been booked in big matches and main events, he has fallen short in those spots.

He lost to Gunther for the Intercontinental Title this February on Raw before losing to Damian Priest at Backlash for the World Heavyweight Title. Uso then put over Gunther in the King Of The Ring 2024 Semi-Finals. While he qualified for Money in the Bank, he also lost the ladder match. He has scored a win over Chad Gable and Dominik Mysterio on Raw since then.

As seen below, The Usos’ father and WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has called for the fans to rally behind Jey to get him a title shot. On his podcast, Rikishi said it struck a nerve with him that Jey didn’t win Money in the Bank.
