Matt and Jeff Hardy were recently interviewed by the legendary Bill Apter for Sportskeeda Wrestle Binge. Matt and Jeff are wrestling in TNA and the TNA crossover with WWE has sparked discussion online about the possibility of seeing them in NXT or back on Raw or SmackDown.
In regards to a possible WWE return, Matt said, “In wrestling, never say never and I will say that the NXT Tag Team Titles are not on the list of titles that we’ve won so we are interested in that. I think this crossover between NXT and TNA is great. It’s exciting. It’s unpredictable and I think that’s a positive for the business and the industry.”
Jeff said, “I’m a fan of first time ever’s and us in NXT and just the vision of that is very exciting to me.” He said that going back to TNA “just feels right” and it happened for a reason.
Matt said the current version of TNA has more structure and he loves working with Tommy Dreamer. Matt added that he wants to see the company grow.
Apter asked if there’s a team that Matt and Jeff would have liked to wrestle but never had that opportunity. Matt said, “A team that would have been cool to have a match against would have been The Motor City Machine Guns because we never worked with those guys. We’ve been pretty blessed, pretty luck to work with almost everyone.”
