WWE Is Off To Strong Start With Bad Blood Ticket Sales

WWE is bringing back the Bad Blood gimmick for an upcoming PLE in October at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA.

The theme was first used during the Attitude Era before WWE brought it back in 2003 with Triple H vs. Kevin Nash in a Hell in a Cell match for the World Heavyweight Championship with Mick Foley as the special guest referee as the main event. The last event was the following year, when Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels in a Hell in a Cell match was the headliner.

WWE is bringing it back to tie into the anniversary of the first-ever Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, which also featured the debut of the Kane character on October 5, 1997.

WrestleTix noted the show has sold 13,314 tickets, and there are 501 left after recently going on sale. The last time they were at the venue they drew 12,009 fans for a January SmackDown.

WWE returns with its next PLE this Saturday with the SummerSlam show, which is expected to be headlined by Solo Sioka challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title.
