MJF Reportedly Punched A Wall Before Will Ospreay Match, Britt Baker “Exercised Frustration” About MJF Within The Women’s Locker Room

More details continue to come out regarding the backstage incident with MJF, his girlfriend and AEW on-screen talent Alicia Atout, and Britt Baker.

Dave Meltzer first reported that Baker was suspended for one or two weeks and fined by the company’s disciplinary committee. He noted that at the July 17th Dynamite, Baker allegedly said something about MJF. Atout was in the women’s locker room when she said it, and MJF confronted Baker about it.

This led to an investigation,, and HR talked to people the following week. Meltzer added, “Most of those we heard from were sympathetic to her in this situation.”

Fightful Select reports the word internally was that Baker exercised frustration about MJF within the women’s locker room, and Atout was in the room, causing him to find out. While details are, “he said, she said,” at this point, they were told there were confrontations between Atout and Baker in addition to MJF and Baker.

Will Ospreay spoke with Baker at one point. Baker took issue with Atout telling MJF about what was said in the locker room. Baker and MJF were close friends at one point but had a falling out at some point in the last year. HR got involved in the situation several weeks ago. Baker has appeared on TV since then but was legitimately suspended.

Ibou of WrestlePurists reported the incident happened right after MJF’s match with Ospreay that opened the show. Fightful’s report noted the argument “resulted in MJF punching a wall before his hour long match.”
