Former WWE Group Has Reunited

Not every group or faction will be a big hit in pro wrestling, but when they do become something special, they can have longevity regardless of whether the promotion that created them wants to use them. Wrestlers often move on from one company and reunite with their former stablemates in another promotion.

That happened when Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal) reunited with the Bollywood Boyz (Gurv Sihra & Harv Sihra, aka the Singh Brothers) on Friday night.

They were together during Mahal’s reign as WWE Champion in 2017. Fans will remember when Randy Orton delivered some nasty suplexes to the Bollywood Boyz on an announce table during a match with Mahal. The Bollywood Boyz were let go by WWE in June 2021, where they worked on the independent scene.

Mahal was let go by WWE earlier this year after his second run. Since then, he’s worked on the independents after his 90-day non-compete expired in July. The reunion happened at GCW Now and Forever on August 2nd.

It was when the Bollywood Boyz helped Mahal beat Effy in a bout on the show.
