Backstage News On When Joe Hendry’s TNA Contract Expires

Joe Hendry’s popularity with fans has taken off following his initial appearance on WWE NXT TV while working in TNA Wrestling as the crossover between the two promotions continues.

This crossover has seen  TNA stars appear on NXT television, and vice versa. Although he was the first to be eliminated from the battle royal in his first appearance, he got the biggest pop when his music hit. Hendry drew big social media numbers for the company, leading to them using him several times since then.

He has been used in various roles, including on commentary, a live concert, and a backstage segment with Gallus. Hendry recently appeared as a guest on Talk is Jericho, where he said, “We’ve got a while” regarding his TNA deal. No other details were given.

PWInsider.com reports that the belief is that Hendry’s TNA deal expires next year. It’s possible that WWE could buy out Hendry’s deal with TNA should they want to sign him before he’s a free agent.

However, that has not been discussed between the two promotions.
