Former WWE Star Debuted At ROH TV Tapings

AEW/ROH brought in a former WWE star to work Sunday’s Ring Of Honor tapings.

The tapings from Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas followed a set of tapings on Saturday. That star is Sidney Akeem, formerly Reggie/Scripts.

The 29-year-old previously performed for Cirque de Soleil before signing with WWE in 2020. Scrypts was later moved to the main roster. Under Vince McMahon’s regime, he was used as comedy relief during the 24/7 Title segments and was involved in a storyline with Dana Brooke.

In 2022, he was repackaged to the Scrypts gimmick. WWE let his deal expire in June and opted not to renew it.

He worked his promotional debut match against Johnny TV and put over the fellow former WWE star.
