Positive Health Update On Raquel Rodriguez

Raquel Rodriguez has been away from WWE for several months as she continues to battle Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS).

This was something that she first revealed in January. The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology notes that mass cell activation syndrome is “a condition in which the patient experiences repeated episodes of the symptoms of anaphylaxis – allergic symptoms such as hives, swelling, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing and severe diarrhea. High levels of mast cell mediators are released during those episodes.”

Because of this, she had to take time off from the company only to return in February, when she was booked to win a last-chance battle royal to qualify for the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match. Her condition flared up ahead of the show, but she went through with it.

Her last match was a win over Chelsea Green in a squash match on the February 26 episode of Monday Night Raw. Following that, she was pulled from television.

It was reported by PWInsider last month that there have been internal discussions about Rodriguez returning to WWE TV in the near future. However, it’s unclear when exactly Rodriguez could be back.

As seen below, Rodriguez shared on her Instagram stories she was getting bloodwork done at the Alliance Regenerative Center, which is partnering with RejuvStem for cellular therapy. This has helped her skin and made her feel and look better than she has in months.
