An AEW star is on the sidelines with an injury that resulted in him undergoing the knife.
That star is Nick Comoroto, who had a run in WWE from 2019 to 2020, where he worked in NXT under the ring name Nick Ogarelli. He made his debut in July 2019 before being released alongside several other stars due to budget cuts during the pandemic. He went to work for AEW that same year, making a name for himself by working AEW Dark matches. He aligned with Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall as part of the Nightmare Family before joining Marshall’s The Factory group. The group split up earlier this year.
His last match was earlier this month on an ROH episode, putting over Lee Johnson. He noted today that he had hip resurface surgery.
“Hey guys, I recently just got my hip resurfaced. I was wrestling on one leg for nearly two years. It’s gonna feel amazing to be able walk my dogs again. I’ll see you all in early 2025. #AEW #AEWDynamite #ROH.”
We wish him a speedy recovery.
