WWE Says They’re Not Planning To Move The Performance Center (UPDATED)

UPDATE: WWE says they are not moving.

WWE is slated to move the Performance Center from Orlando, FL, to Las Vegas, Nevada.

The PC first opened in July 2013 and replaced WWE’s former developmental territory, FCW. A second facility was opened in January 2019 in London. WWE used the Performance Center during the pandemic to tape weekly television before creating the ThunderDome. NXT has stayed at the PC since then and built onto it as an upgrade for weekly TV.

WrestleVotes broke the news today that WWE employees were told in a meeting today at WWE Headquarters in Stanford that the Performance Center will be moving to Vegas in the near future. UFC’s headquarters, Performance Institute, and Apex Center are in Las Vegas.

The account stated, “According to a source there was an all employee meeting today at WWE HQ in Stamford hosted by Mark Shapiro. I’m told the biggest news to come out of the meeting is that the WWE Performance Center will be moving to Las Vegas in the near future.”

It’s unclear exactly when the move will happen.
