Nikki Garci, aka former WWE wrestler Nikki Bella, became engaged to Artem Chigvintsev in 2019 and married in 2022. However, Artem has been arrested for domestic violence.
Nikki was previously engaged to John Cena after dating for several years. Bella met Artem while partners on Dancing With The Stars in 2017. They later welcomed their first child, Matteo, in July of 2020.
Their wedding kept getting delayed due to Nikki’s promise to Artem that they wouldn’t get married until his parents could attend the ceremony, as the COVID-19 pandemic prevented his Russian parents from traveling for the wedding.
TMZ reported today that Chingvintsev is in jail in Napa, California, because he’s been arrested for domestic battery. He was booked into jail on Thursday morning on a felony domestic violence charge.
No further details are available at this time. Nikki did note on her Instagram Story Wednesday that she was also in Napa.
