WWE Files For Giulia Trademark

WWE has filed for another ring name-related trademark, this time for Giulia

The company filed for “Giulia” on September 3 under the entertainment services classification with The United States Patent and Trademark Office. Here is the description for the trademark:

“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

The top international star made her official promotion debut at this year’s WWE NXT No Mercy Premium Live Event in Denver, Colorado. The debut happened following NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez vs. Jaida Parker, which saw Perez go over to retain her title. Giula had a staredown with Perez, who held up her title.

On this week’s NXT, Giulia laid out Chelsea Green, who wanted an NXT Women’s Title match. Giulia said she wanted the title bout on the premiere episode of NXT on the CW, which takes place on October 1. She and Perez had a staredown to close the show.
