Tony Khan: There’s A “90 Percent” Chance Of AEW TV Rights Deal Announcement In The Next Month

AEW President Tony Khan has addressed his big hint about the negotiations between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery.

Khan has stated that the two sides are close to making a deal. While speaking to the live crowd following Friday’s Collision and Rampage, the AEW President teased that a TV deal is coming soon. He said, “I feel pretty good to say that AEW on TBS and TNT, I think, is here to say.”

AEW’s TV rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery expires at the end of this year. During the AEW All Out post-show media scrum, Khan discussed his comments.

Khan said, “We’re still in very very close and exciting negotiations with Warner Brothers Discovery. It’s been going on throughout the summer that we’ve been having these conversations. It’s a very detailed package that we’re having discussions about. AEW is growing so much…I said [on Friday after Collision], “I have not put pen to paper. I’m still working on things. It’s an exciting time without getting too specific, but while giving everybody that anticipation of things to come.”

Khan was asked about giving a percentage of an announcement of a new deal coming in the next month or so. He said, “90 percent.”
