WWE Has Plans For Cody Rhodes Match At Bad Blood

The card for the upcoming Bad Blood Premium Live Event, which will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA, is coming along and will feature a Cody Rhodes match.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was originally believed to be defending the title at this show against Solo Sikoa. That’s not the case, as the match will take place on Friday’s SmackDown.

However, WWE still plans for Rhodes to wrestle at Bad Blood. Dave Meltzer reported the news while speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, although Rhodes’ opponent is still unknown.

“You only have five match pay-per-views, and we’ve got GUNTHER and Sami [Zayn], we’ve got Cody Rhodes, which will be announced on Friday whatever they do, and we’ve got Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan, and we’ve got Damian Priest & Finn Balor, and [CM] Punk & Drew [McIntyre].”
