WWE has a surprise in store for fans tuning into tonight’s NXT episode.
Some of the bigger matches to look forward to are Jordynne Grace putting her TNA Knockouts World Championship on the line in an open challenge, WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom facing off against The Street Profits in the opening match, and a Last Man Standing match between Trick Williams and Pete Dunne to determine the number one contender for the WWE NXT Championship.
Also, WWE NXT Heritage Cup Champion Charlie Dempsey is defending his title against Je’Von Evans, and Giulia will face Chelsa Green in her first match in NXT.
Fightful Select reports that TNA wrestler Alex Hammerstone is currently at the WWE Performance Center. WWE has plans for a mystery opponent for WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi to be on the show. The bout was set up via a video shared on the NXT Anonymous X account. In the clip, Tony D’Angelo was paying off a mystery man and remarked that he had put a little extra in the envelope because he hoped that his problems would be “taken care of.”
Hammerstone and Femi were seen rehearsing today. This marks the latest crossover between TNA and WWE.
