Chris Jericho has secured a new trademark. He filed for the term ‘Hi Guys’ with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
This is part of his current Learning Tree gimmick, as he uses the line to open his promos. Michael E. Dockins filed it on behalf of Chris Irvine, Inc. on September 11 for entertainment and merchandise purposes. Here is the description:
“Hats; Shirts; Socks; Bandanas; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts

Jericho started the gimmick in March when he tried to form a mentor-student relationship with Hook. He later recruited Big Bill and Bryan Keith, only for Hook to push back.
They feuded over the FTR Title, with Hook regaining it at All In in the blow-off match. Jericho held the title for 127 days.
