AEW Grand Slam: Australia Ticket Sales Are Reportedly “Not Good”

AEW will hold Grand Slam: Australia on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. However, the show is reportedly not selling well at the ticket box office.

The event news was announced during All In: London 2024 pay-per-view event after The Sporting News first reported that the promotion planned to hold a show at a stadium venue in Australia in 2025.

The venue’s listed capacity is 52,000 for football. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed ticket sales for the show, with Meltzer noting that they weren’t doing well.

Alvarez: “How’s that show doing?”

Meltzer: “Not good.”

Alvarez: “That’s what everyone in Australia said. I mean, that’s what people in Australia said.

Meltzer: “I know beforehand. They were right. I think sometimes people think, like, if you rent a stadium, they will come. But, historically in wrestling, a lot of stadium shows did not do well.”

WrestleTix, which does a great job tracking ticket sales, hasn’t yet released estimated ticket sales. Hopefully, with a loaded card and as the show gets closer, ticket sales will increase.
