Janel Grant’s Attorney Asking For NDAs To Be Waived In Lawsuit Against Vince McMahon, WWE & John Laurinaitis

In January of this year, Vince McMahon resigned from all his roles within TKO, including executive chairman and member of the TKO Board of Directors, following a lawsuit that included horrific allegations former WWE employee Janel Grant made against himself, WWE, and John Laurinaitis.

McMahon was alleged to be involved in sex trafficking, sharing nude photos and explicit videos of Grant without consent, and other things from the former WWE employee. Ann Callis, the attorney representing Grant, previously revealed that her client had agreed to the US Attorney’s Office’s request to pause the lawsuit pending a non-public investigation into the allegations. The case will resume in December.

McMahon has denied Grant’s allegations. Due to the lawsuit, Grant was not interviewed for the Netflix documentary about McMahon.

An update has come from the Associated Press, noting that Grant’s representation is asking for NDAs not to be enforced with other former and current employees should they want to come forward should they wish with similar accusations.

Grant’s lawyer sent an email to make the request. Callis also issued the following statement:

“If WWE and its parent company Endeavor are serious about parting ways with Vince McMahon and the toxic workplace culture he created, their executives should have no problem with releasing former WWE employees from their NDAs. This is the first step to rehabilitating a company that covered up decades of sexual assault and human trafficking.”

McMahon’s spokesperson, Curtis Vogel, declined to comment.
