As revealed in a promo segment on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Daniel Garcia is staying with the promotion.
Garcia returned to the show after being away and addressed his future with AEW. He said that the answer regarding the best move for himself isn’t the easiest or the most popular. He said that he would remain where the best wrestlers are, AEW.
Garcia added that this version of himself won’t cry or complain every time he loses a match because this is the version that will change everything. He called out everyone in AEW who currently holds gold.
Garcia’s deal was slated to expire this month, and interest from both AEW and WWE was high. He had not been seen since putting over MJF at All Out. Garcia had laid out MJF following the bout.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted Garcia signed a new deal with AEW this week. No other details were provided.
