Cody Rhodes: It Would Be Cool To Get WWE WrestleMania In The UK In The Next Five Years

Cody Rhodes has pushed for WWE to bring WrestleMania to the UK within the next few years.

WWE returned to the market a few years ago with the Clash at the Castle PLE in 2022 before turning in 2023 with Money in the Bank. This year, WWE has held more international events than ever, with stops in Australia, France, Scotland, Toronto, and Berlin.

At Money in the Bank 2023, Cena publicly pushed for Mania to happen in the UK. While speaking with James Dawson of BBC News Manchester, Rhodes discussed a potential UK PLE.

“If I’m aiming, it would be cool to get it [in the UK] in the next five years. There’s some really big venues over here that could host a WrestleMania,” adding, “I think American fans would jump at the chance to come to a WrestleMania [overseas], whether that that be in Manchester or London, I think they’d go nuts for it.”

Rhodes added, “When the greatest of all time, as we like to call John [Cena], goes out there and says it, it almost wills itself into existence. I’m very much looking forward to watching that situation unfold.”

Rhodes will meet World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER in a Crown Jewel Title bout next month at Crown Jewel.
