Over the last week, WWE has been teasing the reunion of The Usos with two backstage segments across Raw and SmackDown as Jimmy has aligned himself with Roman Reigns as a babyface.
The Motor City Machine Guns arrived last week on SmackDown when General Manager Nick Aldis’s office officially announced that they were a part of WWE before they made their in-ring debut and won a match that moved them closer to being the new #1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles. They meet DIY next week.
While speaking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Uso spoke about a potential match against the newcomers. Uso named his brother as his partner of choice.
Uso said, ‘I would like to – and if I did go with the Motor City Machine Guns. I would like, I would like for my brother to do [it with me]. I would like to do it with Jimmy because I feel like with Jimmy -Sami [Zayn] is easy too, but I feel like with Jimmy, man, we are the best tag team in the world.’
He added, ‘We’ve done everything,’ he admitted. ‘But I feel like if we did have a comeback, man, I would like to run with those guys [Shelley and Sabin], a couple guys from NXT, maybe the Lucha Bros. But they gotta walk through this door.’
