An AEW star who has been on the sidelines for months has been medically cleared and is apparently in town ahead of this week’s Dynamite.
Powerhouse Hobbs has been away since a February episode of AEW Dynamite. This is when he worked with IWGP World Champion Jon Moxley and sustained a legitimate knee injury in the bout.
Fightful previously confirmed Hobbs was also at AEW All Out weekend and is back on the road with AEW. Hobbs was cleared to return to the ring in the last few weeks after the AEW star underwent extensive in-ring testing before being cleared and was waiting on creative. While speaking with Baby Huey on In The Kliq, Hobbs recently confirmed he is medically cleared.
PWInsider.com reports that several readers sent word that they’ve spotted Hobbs in Salt Lake City ahead of Dynamite. It should be noted that since he’s been at recent AEW events, it doesn’t 100% mean he will be returning on the show.
It’s unclear exactly when he will return to in-ring action.
