Crowd Reaction To Faceoff Between Bron Breakker And Jacob Fatu On Raw Was Bigger Than WWE Expected

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, ended with a new champion being crowned. The Bloodline helped Bron Breakker beat Jey Uso for the Intercontinental Title.

Earlier in the night, Sikoa stated they wanted to help Jey in his title defense. During this, Jacob Fatu had a staredown with Breakker, which caused a big reaction among fans. In the end, Fatu took out Jey, allowing Breakker to win.

After the match, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes wrestled in a first-time-ever match when he took on Fatu. The Philadelphia Street Fight was the dark match, seeing Fatu put over the top star, marking his first singles match in WWE.

During the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, it was noted there was high praise backstage for the faceoff.

Joey Votes stated, “We’re told there was heavy, heavy internal praise on how well this came off, especially reaction from the live crowd in Philadelphia. We were told that numerous people backstage enjoyed it and were almost stunned by how big of a reaction these two men got. We can say that there is nothing in the short-term plan between the two right now, but the feeling is creative that they certainly stumbled onto something big.”
