AEW Star Shares Injury Update

AEW will be without one of its wrestlers in the near future.

Earlier this month, Anthony Henry announced that he would be out of action after he suffered a torn biceps in a recent Collision match against Gabe Kidd for the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship.

Henry had surgery shortly after, and it was a success. Now, he looks to come back from another injury. He had been part of the Workhosemen on ROH TV, with their last AEW bout coming in January on Collision, where they put over Sting and Darby Allin.

Earlier this year, Henry was sidelined with a broken jaw. This happened while he was working at a Deadlock Pro Wrestling match, where Bryan Keith retained the DPW National Title. He was released while away with an injury, only to be brought back once medically cleared.

In a new Twitter post, he shared the following update. He wrote, “Apparently, I am an anomaly. Only about two weeks post-op, and I am out of the immobilizer and already moving freely with nearly full ROM. Fingers crossed BUT, I think I can be cleared in another 6 weeks. #workhorsemen.”

We wish him a speedy recovery.
