WWE could bring in Lita for the special NXT episode on Wednesday, November 6, at 2300 Arena, formerly the ECW Arena, in Philadelphia. The episode will air live on The CW starting at 8 p.m. ET.
ECW original Bubba Ray Dudley is set to be in attendance for NXT while Dawn Marie will be a special guest referee for a women’s hardcore match. An ECW faction has also beeen teased for the show.
Fightful reports that there was a pitch for an eight- or ten-woman tag team match that would involve Lita. The WWE Hall of Famer worked in ECW as Miss Congeniality. Lita was said to be at the venue last week, although it was for unrelated reasons. This bout has been pitched throughout the week.
Lita last wrestled at WrestleMania 39 by teaming with Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus against Damage CTRL. Lita and Becky Lynch were WWE Tag Team Champions when she was written off TV as Stratus and Lynch went into a feud.
