Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT will feature the fallout from the Halloween Havoc PLE on Sunday night and potentially a notable appearance.
Things confirmed for the show include NXT Heritage Cup Champion Charlie Dempsey vs. Lexis King with William Regal, NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer & Axiom vs. Je’Von Evans & Cedric Alexander, Tatum Paxley vs. Wendy Choo in a casket match, and ZARIA’s in-ring debut.
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan reports WWE Hall Of Famer Rob Van Dam is backstage at tonight’s NXT. The ECW Legend has made sporadic appearances for WWE at recent events as he is under a WWE Legends deal.
It should be noted that NXT is going to the old ECW Arena next week, and NXT’s Je’Von Evans has not only called for a match with RVD but was also shown a photo of RVD behind him on last week’s edition of NXT. It’s possible this match is set up for next week.
Evans just worked with Randy Orton a few weeks ago on NXT. WWE is bringing Bubba Ray Dudley and Dawn Marie in for next week’s NXT.
