AEW will be without one of its top stars for a while while he recovers
On Wednesday’s AEW Fright Night Dynamite, Private Party beat the Young Bucks to both win the AEW Tag Team titles and avoid splitting up as a team. This match ended when Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy hit the Gin and Juice on Nicholas Jackson.
This marks their first reign as Tag Team Champions after signing with AEW in 2019. This was a match from when The Bucks defeated Private Party at this month’s WrestleDream to retain the titles.
Bryan Alvarez reported in his AEW Dynamite recap that Nicholas Jackson has been working with a separated shoulder. It was added that the injury had been bothering him for weeks.
As of this writing, it’s unclear how long Jackson will be out of action. We wish him a speedy recovery.
