Alexa Bliss Impostor Scammed Nearly $1 Million From 79-Year-Old Man

Wrestlers warn fans all the time of scammers pretending to be them. Still, unfortunately, one man named Alfred Mancinelli was tricked into thinking he was in a relationship with Alexa Bliss.

According to The New York Times, the 79-year-old was tricked by scammers, who took nearly $1 million from the man. He used his retirement savings and his granddaughter’s college fund to give the money to the scammers.

His son visited the house his father lived at and found a family photo on the refrigerator that included the WWE star, as the man believed he was in a romantic relationship with her. Prior to the Bliss impersonator, the man had sent money to other scammers who pretended to be in need, including someone acting like a woman named “Kate” who said her daughter was sick, and another named “Anna” who asked for money to help sick children.

Alfred’s savings dropped from $900,000 to just $128,000 because of the scams. After finding out about the scam, the son moved the last $100,000 into a safe account, only to later move the money back to the account once his father sued him, which was eventually drained the remaining money out of it.

The person who pretended Bliss told Alfried stories about Vince McMahon and treating her badly. The man passed away over the summer. You can read the entire story here.
