Baron Corbin was among the names to depart from WWE on Friday as WWE opted to not renew his deal. Indie Hartwell and Tegan Nox were released from their deals.
After a successful NXT stint, Corbin was called up to the main roster in 2016. There, he found further success and was consistently booked under Vince McMahon. Among his accolades, he is a former Money in the Bank, King of the Ring winner, and former United States Champion. He was also a former two-time NXT Tag Team Champion.
Last year, Corbin went to NXT, where he had undergone a few different character changes, including a one-week return of the Lone Wolf. He was called up to the main roster earlier this year, although the company didn’t do much with him there.
When a fan on Instagram argued that WWE ‘fumbled’ him, Corbin agreed with the sentiment. You can see his response below:
