NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 Main Event Announced

Several matches, including the main event, have been confirmed for NJPW’s biggest event of the year, Wrestle Kingdom 19.

The main event is slated to see Zack Sabre Jr defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Title against Shota Umino. Also on tap is DOUKI defending the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title against El Desperado, and David Finlay will defend the IWGP Global Heavyweight Title against Yota Tsuji.

The rest of the card announced thus far will see Ren Narita puts the NJPW World TV Title on the line against Ryohei Oiwa and Jeff Cobb in a triple threat bout, Intergalactic (Jet Setters Kevin Knight and KUSHIDA) defend the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Titles in a four-way bout against Ichiban Sweet Boys (Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita), Catch 2/2 (TJP & Francesco Akira) and Bullet Club War Dogs (Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney).

More matches will be announced for the January 4th show at the Tokyo Dome in the coming weeks.
