The Rock Admits He Does Pee In Water Bottles On Movie Sets

The Rock is a busy man with his businesses and movie career. He also has to train hard in the gym to stay in peak shape. With that, he has to cut back on areas he can, including the bathroom, when possible.

Earlier this year, The Wrap reported that The Rock would be up to eight hours late and pee in water bottles to not waste time while filming “Red One.” While being interviewed by GQ (via Variety), The Rock confirmed that both stories are true but did take the time to clarify them.

“Yeah, that happens,” The Rock stated. “But not that amount, by the way. That was a bananas amount. That’s crazy. Ridiculous.”

Regarding peeing in bottles, Rock added, “Yeah. That happens…I’ve said a thousand times: ‘Hey, I’m here. Come and ask me. And I’ll tell you the truth.’”

Chris Evans, who stars in “Red One” with Rock, revealed Rock gave out a combined $100,000 to various crew members. J.K. Simmons, Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, and Wesley Kimmel also star in the film.

“Red One” is set to open in theaters on November 15. It’s directed by Jake Kasdan, who was with The Rock for “Jumanji,” and written by Chris Morgan, who worked with The Rock on the Fast and Furious spinoff movie, “Hobbs & Shaw.”
