Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) has seen Cody Rhodes grow up before his very eyes,, both personally and professionally.
DDP was at his side for years on the independent scene while he tried to repair his career, helping launch AEW and see him finally finish his story of winning the Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania 40 by dethroning Roman Reigns.
During a recent interview with Justin Barrasso to promote being part of the latest WWE 2K24 DLC package, DDP gave Rhodes high praise.
“Cody had the vision,” said Page. “He saw it. People who say, ’I’ll see it when I believe it,’ they don’t see shit. The people who say, ‘I believe it because I see it,’ they’re the visionaries.”
DDP continued, “I think of 10 years ago when Cody was seeing a vision of himself holding that world title. Cody is a visionary. I love being part of this with him.”
