Planned Date For Second Episode Of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will return, airing live on NBC and simulcast on Peacock on Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. ET from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, N.Y. However, that hasn’t stopped the company from planning the second episode already.

The special first ran from 1985-1991 on NBC and in 1992 on FOX. WWE brought it back in prime time in March 2006 when it returned to NBCU for Raw on USA Network. That lasted until August 2008.

WrestleVotes reports that WWE is planning to hold the second edition of the quarterly special on January 25th. A location or venue has yet to be determined.

This will be a quick turnaround for the NBC special and takes place a week prior to the Royal Rumble PLE.
