Former WWE Star Adam Bomb Says The Ringmaster Name Was Originally Pitched For Him

Former WWE star Adam Bomb (Bryan Clark) was interviewed on the Road Trip After Hours YouTube channel hosted by Teddy Long and Mac Davis.

Adam Bomb said that one of the names pitched for him when he entered the WWF was The Ringmaster, the name that was used years later for Steve Austin.

“There were three (names he was presented with). There was one that sort of tied my military career to a character. The second one was Adam Bomb. The third one was The Ringmaster.”

He continued, “Back in those days, what they did is they trademarked a lot of names. Adam Bomb, and of course, Steve Austin’s gimmick later on, of course, but they sort of had that in the bank and they brought it out, but that was one of the names. At the time, I felt of the three, I think that I could do the most with Adam Bomb, being a Three Mile Island deal with a nuclear monster. I felt like I could do a lot more with it. So that’s why I chose that one.”
