WWE unveiled its latest class of NXT signings.
Among the names was Lance Anoa’i, the son of Samu and grandson of the late Afa the Wild Samoan. Former NFL player and the son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield was also confirmed.
In 2023, Fightful Select reported that Lance Anoa’i had secured his release from MLW and expressed interest in going to WWE. A’noai reportedly did sign with WWE this past summer.
Fightful’s latest report noted that he’s not imminently planned for creative within NXT or the main roster, as he’s out of injury and likely won’t be cleared for a while.
