Former WWE Star Is Open To Making Royal Rumble Return

Every year, as WWE approaches hosting the Royal Rumble, fans start to speculate who the company could bring back to be surprises for the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches.

Celeste Bonin, aka Kaitlyn, is open to an opportunity that makes sense after working for the company for several years. She had a successful run in the company, winning NXT Season Three and the WWE Divas Championship before opting to leave in 2014.

Kaitlyn returned to the company for the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament and appeared at WWE Raw Reunion in 2019. While speaking on The A2theK Wrestling Show, she was asked whether she could potentially return to WWE for a Royal Rumble match.

Kaitlyn stated, “It depends. I’m always down to do something cool. If it’s cool and fun and makes sense, I’m always down for that. I had gone to a Royal Rumble a couple of years ago where there was a possibility that I was gonna be in it, and it ended up not unfolding. I have a whole different life now, but WWE is such a big part of who I am. So I’m always down for stuff that makes sense. I’m always down for stuff that’s really cool. It just hasn’t really unfolded that way yet, but yeah, I’m always open to [an] opportunity for something to cross over or make sense again. Always open for that.”

The Royal Rumble will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
