There’s been a lot of speculation in the last week or so about The Street Profits leaving WWE.
Rumors began to spread online after Montez Ford expressed frustration about the start-and-stop pushes for himself and Angelo Dawkins, especially after Bobby Lashley was released. To make things clear about their status, they are not leaving the company anytime soon.
PWInsider reports that they are locked into WWE deals and the belief is that the comments about their unhappiness are being done to “garner attention more than anything else.” In promos on WWE’s social media accounts, Dawkins and Ford have gotten more serious and it looks like they will either be splitting up or getting a big push. Either way, the promos appear to be furthering their storyline.
Ford has been working on some outside projects but there is no belief in WWE that he and Dawkins are leaving.
