At a time when Randy Orton has been positioned in a feud with Kevin Owens a year after returning from a serious back injury, he also caught the attention of one NJPW star.
NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd is known for trash-talking and speaking his mind. He is back at it, this time with his sights set on the future WWE Hall of Famer.
Kidd called out Orton in a post on Twitter and told him to get his boss to clear the match. WWE has been working with several promotions, including TNA and Pro Wrestling NOAH, over the last several months. Of course, NJPW has a working relationship with AEW. Kidd posted the following:
.@RandyOrton WHAT YOU SAYING FAM
SPEAK TO YOUR BOSS AND COME FIGHT ME
YOU COULD NEVER DO WHAT I DO
IF YOU DISAGREE, COME DO SOMETHING

Kidd is slated to wrestle Kenny Omega in Omega’s return match at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th.
