Jade Cargill Is On WWE’s Internal Injury List

Jade Cargill’s status has been much speculated about among fans after WWE did an injury angle on SmackDown when a mystery attacker ambushed her. The original belief via Dave Meltzer was that Cargill would be out of action for a while, with her absence to be at least three months, if not longer, due to a legitimate injury.

WrestleVotes came out with a report noting he heard WWE was planning to strip Cargill and Bianca Belair of the Women’s Tag Team Titles. However, PWInsider.com reported that they were told that Cargill isn’t injured and that the mystery attacker angle was used for a storyline.

Last week, in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that several versions are going around, including one that covers up a legitimate injury. One person stated that it seems like nobody, including her friends, knows what the injury actually is or why it happened, while WWE higher-ups claimed she was injured, and the stories denying it are false.

Another version stated that the injury was done to cover up a political backstage issue. On last Friday’s Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez stated that, based on what he’s been told, he is sure that she is indeed injured.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported in a Q&A that Jade “is on their [WWE] internal injury list as best I know.”

We wish her a speedy recovery.
