Juice Robinson’s participation in the AEW Continental Classic is questionable after a possible broken foot suffered during his match with Will Ospreay on AEW Collision last week.
The match, taped on Wednesday, saw Robinson lose to Ospreay in the first round-robin match of the Gold League. Robinson was seen using crutches at WrestleCade this past weekend, raising concerns about his health.
Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer provided an update, stating that Robinson underwent X-rays but was still awaiting results. “He was fearing a broken foot,” Meltzer revealed. “We’ll find out Wednesday, I guess.”
Meltzer speculated on potential scenarios if Robinson is indeed sidelined. “I would think that if he’s out (of the tournament), they would have to make an announcement,” he said. Options include forfeiting Robinson’s remaining matches and adjusting the standings accordingly, or introducing a replacement wrestler.
Robinson is not currently advertised for this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in Fishers, Indiana, where other tournament matches like Brody King vs. Claudio Castagnoli are scheduled. Best wishes to Robinson on a speedy recovery.
