Juice Robinson Is Out Of The AEW Continental Classic, Tony Khan Announces His Replacement

Juice Robinson’s AEW Continental Classic journey has been cut short after just one match due to a potential broken foot. The injury, sustained during his loss to Will Ospreay, has forced Robinson out of the tournament. Stepping up to fill the vacant spot is Komander.

AEW owner Tony Khan announced the news on X, stating that Komander, as the first alternate for the Gold League, will assume Robinson’s remaining schedule. This means Komander now faces a challenging road ahead with matches against Ricochet, Brody King, Claudio Castagnoli, and Darby Allin.

Robinson’s injury occurred during his match with Ospreay, taped for the November 29th episode of Collision. He was later seen using crutches at WrestleCade over the weekend, and as of Monday, was still awaiting the results of an X-ray.

The AEW Continental Classic features two leagues, Gold and Blue, with the winner of each league facing the runner-up of the opposing league at the upcoming Worlds End pay-per-view. The winners of those matches will then clash in the tournament finals to determine who takes home the AEW Continental title.
