Konnan Is Still Dealing With Health Issues After Being Released From The Hospital

Konnan was hospitalized for a month before being released, but that doesn’t mean his health is stable yet.

The Hall of Fame-worthy star has had his fair share of health problems as he underwent successful heart surgery due to the effects of COVID-19 after testing positive for it in February 2021. In early 2022, he needed another kidney transplant.

This marked the second time that Konnan had had a kidney transplant. The first one happened in 2007. However, he dealt with issues as his body rejected it, so he had to take anti-rejection drugs.

Last month, it was reported that Konnan had been hospitalized with diverticulitis. In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Konnan still has more health problems since being released from the hospital.

It was said that Konan has “had issues with being out of breath and lethargic and at one point was hyperventilating for seven hours and was diagnosed as having eight pounds of water accumulating around his heart and they got it out and released him from the hospital again.”

We wish him a speedy recovery.
