Clarification On Live Broadcast Of AEW All In: Texas On Max

As part of the new multi-year multimedia rights deal between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery, AEW will move its library, including PPV and TV shows, to the streaming service.

That starts in January. The deal is worth $555 million over three years, not including the revenue from PPV events. AEW pay-per-views will be available on Max at a discounted price later in 2025.

At the AEW All In: Texas on-sale countdown event, AEW CEO Tony Khan remarked that the show would stream on Max. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Max still doesn’t have the ability to air live pay-per-view events. By the time July rolls around, that could change, but for now, it’s not planned to air live on Max.

Meltzer said, “So there was something that’s been misinterpreted because I saw it everywhere, and as soon as I saw it, first of all, watching it, it was never said. And number two, I knew that it isn’t right because it’s one of these things I’ve been paying attention to. So he kept pushing that they are going to Max in January, which they’re going to Max in January. Rampage, it’s gone. But Collision and Dynamite go first week of January every single show. So you know, that’s the deal. He did not say that All In was going to be on Max. All In will be on Max if Max has pay-per-view capabilities by July 12th. We don’t know the timetable. Nobody knows the timetable. You know, you could ask questions. The reality is it will be ready when it’s ready. Tony did not say that. He made it very clear that he did not say that it would be on, it could be, you know, but it depends on how quick it moves.”
