WWE has announced a new segment for tonight’s NXT as the company is coming off its last premium live event of 2024, Deadline.
The opener of Deadline saw a returning Oba Femi beat Wes Lee, Je’Von Evans, Ethan Page, and Nathan Frazer in the Iron Survivor Challenge. He replaced Eddy Thorpe in the bout to secure an NXT Title bout against Trick Williams at New Year’s Evil on January 6th.
The main event saw Giulia defeat Sol Ruca, Wren Sinclair, Zaria, and Stephanie Vaquer to become the Iron Survivor and clinch a NXT Women’s Title bout against Roxanne Perez. That bout will also take place at New Year’s Evil.
Previously announced for tonight’s show include Femi cutting a promo, Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley vs. Fatal Influence (Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne), and Wes Lee vs. Je’Von Evans. A new segment has been revealed on WWE’s website.
WWE is advertising a promo segment with Giulia for the showw. WWE will be taping the December 24th episode of NXT next Tuesday before taping the December 31st episode on December 19th as the company gives that staff and talent time off for Christmas.
