AEW Collision Viewership Rises From Previous Record Low

AEW Collision saw a significant bounce back in viewership this past Saturday, December 7th, averaging 278,000 viewers. This marks a 93.1% increase from the previous week’s heavily impacted afternoon airing. However, despite this upswing, it represents the lowest viewership for Collision in its regular Saturday night timeslot since October 5th.

The show also saw an improvement in the key 18-49 demographic, drawing a 0.07 rating, up 133.3% from last week’s record low. Despite the increase, this remains the third-lowest rating Collision has achieved in its normal timeslot.

This week’s episode faced stiff competition from several events, including WWE NXT’s Deadline premium live event, UFC 310 preliminary fights, and a slate of college football conference championship games. This competitive landscape likely contributed to the viewership figures.

Year-over-year, Collision’s performance shows a concerning trend. Compared to the same week in 2023, overall viewership is down 38.9%, and the 18-49 demographic rating has been cut in half.

Over the past 11 weeks, Collision has averaged 314,000 viewers and a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This week’s episode falls below these averages, with a 12.2% decrease in viewership and a 22.2% drop in the key demo.
