Liv Morgan Reaches Milestone As WWE Women’s World Champion

As an impressive 2024 for Liv Morgan winds down, fans will remember this year as the one in which she elevated her stock as a top WWE star thanks to feuds with Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch.

In January, she returned from a long hiatus due to injury in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match before going into a program with Lynch. After WrestleMania 40, Morgan went into a program with Ripley, only for the title to be vacated due to injury.

Morgan went over Lynch to win the vacant Women’s World Title at the King and Queen of the Ring PLE. Since then, she has continued the feud with Rhea as she went over to retain the title with the help of Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam before Ripley and Damian Priest went over Morgan and Mysterio in a mixed tag team match at Bash in Berlin.

Their next clash was when Ripley beat Morgan in a title match via DQ at Bad Blood. They worked the Women’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series, which saw the babyfaces that included Bianca Belair, Ripley, IYO SKY, Naomi, and Bayley go over.

Morgan reached the milestone of 200 days in her reign as Women’s World Champion on December 11th. Morgan’s next defense as champion comes on December 14th against SKY at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
