WWE is starting off 2025 with a bang as they hold the premiere episode of Raw on Netflix on January 6th from LA. New Year’s Evil will take place at The Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 7 for the NXT brand.
The episode will kick off the new year of NXT programming on The CW starting at 8 p.m. ET. Tickets for New Year’s Evil will go on sale on Wednesday, December 18.
This is the latest NXT show that will be held on the road, a trend that started in October when NXT moved from the USA Network to the CW. WWE has loaded up the card for the show already.
NXT Champion Trick Williams, defending against Oba Femi, and NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, defending against Giulia, have been booked. Both challengers earned the title matches after winning this year’s Iron Survivor Challenges.
PWInsider.com reports that there is a lot of “excitement about producing NXT out of the legendary venue” among those in the company. It was added that several NXT officials and wrestlers have been traveling to LA to help plan the show’s logistics.
